A5 Leaflets aid Beauty Salon to Promote New Service

Nearly all the business income was now coming from the regulars, and she needed new clients to grow the business. Scribbled down on piece of paper was Sarah Fisher's mock up of an A5 flyer she wanted to print. Sarah couldb't believe her eyes when she saw that a beauty salon down south had already had her idea, and had produced some very professional looking A5 printing, it made her determined to get her idea off the ground. She took the A5 flyer design she had found and wanted to get something similar produced.

“After seeing that another company had started the same idea and already had nice A5 flyers printing promoting it made me a little sad. But then I thought that if they’re doing it, then there must be some money in it.Besides they’re in a different area and not in direct competition. I scanned the A5 print in and sent it to my online A5 flyer printers”

Sarah sent over to the printers and pointed out what she wanted changing on the A5 leaflets. She wanted all her prices and products to go on the A5 flyer as well as her shop logo. However, she liked the general style of the A5 leaflet template and wanted something similar on her own flyer.

“They had obviously spent a lot of time on the theme of the A5 full colour leaflets. The pictures were very fitting and the colour scheme and layout was very nice. I didn’t want to copy the A5 leaflet printing exactly, however, it did give me some more ideas on how I could improve on it. I explained to the A5 printers, the parts of their leaflet I thought were good, and the parts which wre not. I wanted both sides of the leaflet to be designed.”

SK Print Design took Sarah's design brief and produced A5 leaflets that exceeded her expectations. Sarah knew exactly what she wanted. The printer will find it easier if you have a colour scheme in mind, and have a text document with the content you require on the A5 colour printing. Within a day, the 1st proof for the A5 colour leaflets was emailed to Sarah. It was almost precisely what she wanted. All that needed changing was a few of the prices on the back of the A5 leaflets, and one more product was added to the front. After the final proof was approved, Sarah started to look at the different qualities of A5 leaflet paper that could be printed on.

“Our Boutique serves the top end of the market, I wanted something better than the usual cheap A5 leaflet printing. I was not looking to do a massive leaflet door-to-door marketing campaign. I was going to give the A5 leaflets to all my customers as they came in. It was important to me that the A5 printing was of a thicker paper than the other boutique, who was providing the same product. I am a big advocate of quality, and I think a good quality A5 flyer printing really sells the business.”

Sarah studied all the samples she had, she decided to go for 400gsm A5 leaflets. 400gsm is extremely good quality, thick, card which feels very good to the touch. Sarah decided that 5000 A5 leaflets would be enough.

“I put a special offer on the A5 leaflets which was that for every party there was a free Indian head massage as an incentive. So far I have handed out around 2000 A5 leaflets to customers, passers by and dropped some off at some of the local shops. We have had a few parties booked, and it really seems to be working very well. The 5000 A5 flyers has provided the starting point, but but now we are getting a lot of their friends coming along as well. [The 400gsm A5 flyers printing is such good quality that we have actually reused them when people have brought them in!|When people have given us the 400gsm A5 flyers printing, they still looked in perfect condition so we have even started reusing them!”
