Leaflet printing helps Pizza Palace launch new pasta products
Abu Jamal the managing director was looking to launch a new pasta selection to serve along his successful selection of pizzas. He needed cheap leaflet printing that would capture the attention of the local market. Roughly 20,000 full colour leaflets would need to be printed to cover the closest suburbs, then perhaps another 20,000 promotional leaflets a few weeks later to cover part of the next closest town if the first batch of full colour flyers had a good response.

How can you envision what the food looks like from a takeaway if they don’t even show the food. We had professional photographs taken of the food for the flyers. It was important to me to print flyers that showed we were not just all bark and no bite.”
All details including address prices and dishes were added to the leaflets and carefully checked in the proofs before flyers printing commenced. Abu explains “Its important to check that all details are correct before you have your business leaflets printed. An incorrect price or spelling mistake on your promotional leaflets, isn’t only embarrassing, it can cost you the price of getting or your flyer printing again! Even worse, if you have the leaflets distributed, you may lose money on an item. I once saw some great full colour leaflets that had no address for the takeaway!”
The first batch of full colour flyers were printed on time and delivered to the store. The gloss finish to the colour leaflets made the pictures of the dishes stand out and look excellent. All 20,000 colour flyers went out over the course of the next few weeks.
“I was very happy after the leaflet printing company delivered the flyers. They looked very professional and tasty! The response was a little slow at first when the promotional flyers went out. However, at the weekends the phones really started to ring off the hook, we had lots more takeaways ordered, and more bookings at the restaurant. Not only did the leaflets printing sell the pasta dishes but they also cross-selled the pizzas.”
The first flyer from the flyers printers paid for themselves several times over, and the next lot printed were upped to 50,000. Jamal continues to have cheap flyers printing done for Pizza Palace with continuing success. |
